Where can I find a teen modeling website?
I am looking for a teen modeling job. I am mainly looking for the Abercromibe and Fitch Kids Casting/ sign up page. When I went to the site I could only find The Regular Abercrombie Casting Page for ages 18 and older, which I am not. If you have that page or any other higher end brand's Casting page for younger teens please tell me! Links are appreciated. :)

Teen/ fashion magazine work experience what sort of jobs are there?
i'd love to work for a teen magazine like shout or sugar etc etc when i am older but like the editorial aspect, the pages advertising clothes using models etc. what sort of jobs are there here. i have little time to spare today so haven't written my question clearly but hope you understand. of course we have learnt nothing about this at school and i have no idea how the process works and what sort of jobs there are in this area of work. in short: the editorial part of teen fashion magazines. could any give me a list of jobs.
That's exactly what i want to do, i looked up about it and there is lots of different types of jobs. There is the main editor who overlooks the whole magazine and then there is specific groups. I noticed there is fashion editor, features editor, beauty editor, designer, picture editor, sub-editor, editorial assistant etc. and the list goes on really. Next time you buy a magazine look at the front or back pages of the magazine and there will be a list of different jobs. Then, you can research them and find out more about them, such as the wage, hours, qualities. Hope this has helped you! :)
Review first few pages of my teen girl novel?
First few pages, tell me what u think

Chapter 1: Every Story Has a Beginning
Life can be hard
Or life can be great,
It depends on your choices
And what lies in your fate.
You can be loyal and caring,
Live life with laughter and love,
And do just what is wanted
From the heavens looking out from above.
Or you could be different,
Rebellious, regretful, and sly,
Hurting yourself and others
When you cheat and lie.
It’s all up to you
And the decisions you make,
What you do with your time
And the friends that you take.
So now I hope as you go
Through life knowing this,
You make the right choices
And don’t regret what you miss.

Bella Beckham stopped writing. She stared at the last line she had written and then shook her head, pen hovering over the small book with the blue velvet cover. Then, with a sudden gesture, she lifted her head and threw pen and book at the big bay window, where they bounced off harmlessly and landed on the upholstered window seat in her English classroom. When she was fifteen she knew exactly what she wanted. She had wanted the same at twelve. Everything. But now she had made up her mind how to go about attaining it. She was going to trade on her looks, her best and perhaps only talent as far as she was concerned. She thought she could act, or at least learn how. It had to be easier than algebra, or English lit, or any of those other dreary classes in school. But one way or another, she was going to be a star. And she was going to make it on her own. For some weird and wonderful reason, she felt that her whole life was some sort of dream and she sometimes wondered whose it was and whether they were enjoying it. Although, she had a luminous quality- a combination of wistfulness, radiance, yearning, that set her apart and yet made everyone wish to be part of it, to share in the guylike naiveté which was at once so shy and yet so vibrant, a fascinating combination of innocence and experience.
The splendor and sparkle she displayed personified Hollywood glamour with an unparalleled glow and energy that enamored the world. Although she was an alluring beauty with voluptuous curves and a generous pout, she was more than a flawlessly flexible sex goddess. Her apparent vulnerability and innocence, in combination with sensuality, had eventually endeared her to the global consciousness. After all, she was stunning in photographs, her unique essence easily captured by the camera lens. The thought of how her beauty might translate onto the big screen was a tantalizing one. Still, it was a daunting proposition, especially since she had virtually no acting experience- not even in school plays, where so many professional actresses were able to at least garner some minor experience. The situation was terribly unfair, because Bella was made for paparazzi stalkers and tabloid headline notoriety. She constantly dreamed of velvet ropes and open bars, aviator sunglasses and seaweed scrubs, sexy photo shoots, peacock-feathered stilettos, Hello-Kitty messenger bags, pony-skin handbags, and gold-leaf invitations to VIP events. The kind of exclusive fete frequented by glossy-magazine editors, DJs, models, photographers, stylists, kindersocialites, the several pseudocelebrities "cajoled" into showing up (Miley Cyrus, Tyra Banks, Lindsay Lohan) as well as the legions of assorted fashionable hangers-on — aggressive party crashers who more often than not spend their days manning the M.A.C. counter at Bloomingdale's — star-struck guys with a talent for self-invention who had just arrived in the city from Bora-Bora...or Bermuda. So where did Bella go wrong? In the back of her mind, she always thought that by the time she reached fifteen, she’d have something: either a rich and successful boyfriend who kept her in couture or else a fabulous and fulfilling Hollywood career that garnered the respect and envy of her peers. But instead of ascending up the New York circles via legacy or meritocracy, she spent her days in dingy school classrooms and her nights in front of the television, basking in the presence of Hannah Montana and Oprah. Truthfully, her life was unbearably empty and meaningless, not to mention mind-bogglingly boring. Was it Albert Einstein who said an unexamined life is not worth living? Possibly. But as the advent of a twenty-four-hour Reality Channel (which broadcasts innumerable information about ordinary people transplanted into extraordinary circumstances, the reward of surviving their ordeal a seat on David Letterman's couch) proved, it's an undocumented life that's not worth living. If one's every move isn't gossip-column fodder or fan-website worthy, did one even matter in the grand scheme of things? And darlings, Bella wanted to matter. She wanted to matter very, very desperately. Unfortunately, the jet set was simply so talented (days of lolling about in Mercedes unquestionably over) — but the only thing she seemed to have accomplished was the ability to shop while bl

Why do magazines show skinny models, and then have stories about how bad it is to have an eating disorder?
i was reading a teen vouge, and every page had at least one picture of a super-skinny girl but then in the middle of the magazine, they had this whole article about how you should be eating healthy and shouldn't get too thin and then it went back to pages of models.

don't get me wrong, i love teen vouge i'm just really confused. i wish they wouldn't show all these perfect girls and then say "but it's ok being just the way you are so don't try to look like these people that we broadcast as having the perfect lives."
But it's not necessary that all skinny models have an eating disorder. They could be healthy eaters that workout and have a fast metabolism.

You are right though, that magazines should show girls of all sizes. Recently the June 2010 issue of Glamour magazine showed three models of size 2, size 4, and size 6, on their cover page.
All Teen Vogue Readers Please Help?
I was flipping through the 2010 March edition of Teen Vogue. On page 35, there was an advertisement for EXPRESS featuring models Caroline Trentini and Chanel Iman both wearing skirts and a bikini top at the beach. I am in love with the denim skirt with the floral bottom, I checked the express website and couldn't find it, does anybody have any information as to where I can get it?
It will probably be at Express in March.

That's an interesting thought, but it strikes me as odd that some of these trends are fairly pointless in a statistical sense
Help me please. Teen acting and modelling!?
I am 15 years old and I have been going to stage school for nearly 3 years. I am very passionate about acting and would like to model part-time. Recently my "Film/TV acting" teacher said that I have really good potential because I learnt a 4 page script in 10 minutes.

My drama school agency is not good. They just take your money and don't give you any work. Please can you give me some information about acting agencies in London. I have emailed some but they look like fraudsters and I don't like to arrange things online. I would prefer it if they have a telephone number and address that I can visit.

I also need a really good photographer and a studio in London so I can take photos for my portfolio. The ones I have aren't professional. Please can you give me information about a competitions for teen modelling in London (apart from Miss British Isles and Miss Teen Queen UK).

Please can you also give me tips about advancing in Modelling and Acting.

Thank you in advance. xx
